Greetings from Pastor Todd-

Ya know, there is a certain breed of folk that comes from a special stock whose roots run deep into the Texas clay, but I’m finding out it ain’t just Texans. These folks come from a heritage of hard work and calloused hands, respect, and love for the land, honoring their families, with morals and values that were set by their grandparent’s grandparents. There is this kindred spirit that brings us together, men, women, and children alike. He is bold and proud and sits tall in the saddle. It is the soul of the American Cowboy. It’s just a part of our being.

But once teamed with the Holy Spirit, through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, this folk will become a powerful force, like a great and mighty wind that will blow across ravaged lands. I pray that through the church fellowship and sound doctrinal teaching and thru your personal devotion to our glorious Savior, you will learn to bend and yield to the master’s hand. Like a high-priced horse in the hands of a good trainer, I pray you come to know your full potential in Christ, and why such a high price was paid for you….. It is because your destiny is in the mind of the one who bought you. Child of God, You have a purpose!

It’s time my friend to cinch your saddle tight, take up your cross… and take the narrow trail. Sometimes it’s a little steep, and few want to go up it, but you don’t want to miss this.

We at High Mesa want to do everything in our power to help you get to exactly the place where God wants you at this point in your journey.

Listen, I know your life may be hard right now, and you may be going thru the worst of times, but God knows and he’s calling out to you… for you to come close to Him… just because He’s God. Not because of your need or anything else. Come get to know Him as Father, cause He loves you more than life itself… and he’ll separate your sin from you as far as the east is from the west. How far is that? It’s as far as one nail-scarred hand to the other.

Believer’s Position of Authority Luke 18

Most High God,

I come before You today, my heavenly Father, not on the basis of who I am, but because of who You are and the sacrifice of Your Son—I come on the basis of the victory that was won upon the Cross of Calvary for me and all those redeemed by the blood of the true and living Lord Jesus Christ. His Blood is precious to me and my heart’s desire is to honor his gift, the payment for my sins—and therefore, I humbly approach you with humility, thanksgiving, and praise. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4)

Search my heart Lord and respond only to requests and petitions that honor Christ Jesus and the covenant that I share with him, and ignore any prayers, petitions, or commands that are not within my level of authority or which do not line up with your Word.  Father, I acknowledge that I have knowingly and unknowingly sinned against You. But my heart’s desire is to be totally obedient to You and your Word. Please reveal any unconfessed sin in my heart, so that I can confess that sin and be forgiven and cleansed by the precious blood of the Lamb. I especially ask you to reveal any sin in my life that may be the root cause or open doorway that the enemy has used to bring accusation and attack against me or my family, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (confess and repent of any sin that God brings to your mind).

Philippians 2:14-16 – “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.”
